Ansu Fati, Eric Garcia and Oscar Rodriguez top Luis Enrique's list full of new faces

Ansu Fati has been the great novelty in Luis Enrique’s list for the matches that the senior team has to play next September, corresponding to the Nations League. The ‘ Red ‘ will be measured on the 3rd to Germany at home and on the 6th they will receive Ukraine.
Luis Enrique’s first list did not leave anyone indifferent. The message is clear: young people with speed and talent; the first change in goal with Unai Simon for Pau Lopez; and the bet for only two heavyweights like Sergio Ramos and Sergio Busquets.

The big names on this list are Jordi Alba, Saul, Isco and Morata, four footballers who had been regulars for Luis Enrique; and who have fallen from a call in which the young talent makes room; Unai Simon in goal, Eric Garcia and Reguilon in defense; Mikel Merino and oscar Rodriguez in midfield; and Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres upfront.

Real Madrid contributes four footballers (Carvajal, Ramos, Oscar, and Asensio) without counting the loan Reguilon, there are three Manchester City players (Eric Garcia, Rodri, and Ferran), three from Real Sociedad (Diego Llorente, Mikel Merino, and Oyarzabal), while Barca is left with two (Busquets and Ansu Fati) and Atletico is the only big one without representation on the list.

Goal

Luis Enrique and his successor Robert Moreno had bet in all the calls for De Gea, Kepa, and Pau Lopez. On this occasion, he insists on the first two despite the fact that in the case of the Chelsea goal he has been a substitute for Lampard at the end of the season. The big news is Unai Simon; the Athletic goalkeeper who makes his debut in place of Pau; the Roma goalkeeper who finished this season in good shape.

Defending

The great novelty of Luis Enrique in defense has been the call of Eric Garcia; the Manchester City center-back who has given Pep Guardiola such a good performance; and who played the quarterfinals of the Champions League against Lyon. He continues to bet on regulars such as veterans Sergio Ramos, Carvajal, and Jesus Navas; as well as other younger ones such as Pau Torres, Diego Llorente; and on the left side Gaya joins Reguilon instead of Jordi Alba; another for whom he did not bet at the beginning of his journey as a coach. Another one who falls out of the usual is the Athletic center-back Inigo Martinez; although he was somewhat touched.

Midfielders

Oscar Rodriguez, the Real Madrid youth squad who has had a great season at Leganes; has been the big news with his debut in the squad. To a lesser extent, the appearance of the realistic Mikel Merino stands out; because the rest are common: Busquets, Thiago, and Rodri as midfielders; and Dani Olmo (Leipzig) and Fabian Ruiz (Naples) as attacking midfielders. Here the most significant are the absences of the  Saul; the Real Madrid player Isco and the player on loan to Arsenal Dani Ceballos; because it seems difficult for Parejo to make a hole in the national team.

Forwards

There is a lot of new sap upstairs. And a lot of speed. Ferran Torres, the new City player, is one of the best for the band together with Barcelona’s Ansu Fati and Wolverhampton striker Adama Traore. The other three are more common: Rodrigo (Valencia), Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad), and Asensio (Real Madrid); once he recovered from his serious injury. Perhaps what is most surprising is that Gerard Moreno (Villarreal), Spain’s top scorer last season with 18 goals, is missing.
