Maurizio Sarri is no longer the Juventus coach. The decision was an open secret and the club has already confirmed it through an official statement. Juventus dismisses Sarri after the Champions League exit. In it, they thank the coach “for writing a new page in the history of Juventus with the victory of the ninth consecutive League Title.”
The coach was in doubt since the defeat in the Cup final, and the elimination in the Champions League against Lyon has been final. Sarri was apparently calm after the Champions League match, claiming that he had a contract. However, its president, Andrea Agnelli, already predicted that there could be news. “Going out in the eighth in this way should make us reflect. We will take a couple of days to make a decision,” he said in Sky Sport. However, those 48 hours have not been necessary, and less than a day later the news has already broken out.
